Thank you to my Boat Family

- for becoming the supportive family that made the voyage possible

- making me learn so much about life, teaching, love, the world

- for being the wonderful, inspiring people that they are. 

You widened my view of the world as much, if not more, as traveling the world did to me

Looking forward to be reunited... somewhere in the world!

私の船の家族にありがとう

ー船旅での支えとなる家族になってくれて

―人生、教育、愛、世界について学ばせてくれて

ー刺激的で素敵な人たちでいてくれて

世界を旅すると同じくらい、いやもっと、あなたたちの存在も私の世界を広げてくれた。

再会を楽しみに待っています…世界のどこかで！！

- for being themselves, honest and joyful

- for teaching me more about teaching than anyone else could 

- for making me happy just by seeing you

子どもたちにありがとう

ー素直で明るくて自分でいてくれて

ー誰よりも「教える事」について学ばせてくれて

―見るだけで私をハッピーにしてくれて

- for sticking with me as a teacher

- for being brave and couragous: you all conquered your fear of disliking English

- for coming to class, always ready and committed to learn

- for guiding my teaching 

大事な生徒たちにありがとう

ー私という先生に最後までついてくれて

ー英語が嫌いという壁を乗り越える勇気をもってくれて

ー学ぶことに一生懸命で毎日クラスにきてくれて

ー「教える事」の道しるべになってくれて

Thank you to all the staff and people I encountered on this voyage

- for being who they are and coming on this exact voyage

- for making this voyage a special one with their presence

船旅で出会ったすべての人とスタッフにもありがとう

ーみんながみんなでいてくれて、この船旅に乗ってくれて

ーみんなのその個性あふれる存在で船旅を特別なものにしてくれて

Thank You to my dearest Family 

- for being the biggest support and guide even though we are scattered around the world

- for allowing me to follow my heart to do what I want 

- for being loving, inspiring, supporting... I couldn't have asked for a better family. 

大好きな家族にもありがとう

ー世界中バラバラなところにいても一番大きな支えと道しるべになってくれて

ー自分の心を信じて、私にやりたい事をやらせてくれて

ー愛してくれて、刺激してくれて、支えてくれて…

これ以上の家族はいないと思っています。

- for cheering me on to achieve my dreams

- for motivating me through your words and actions

- for supporting, listening, cheering, and motivating

- for exploring this strange but awesome world and life together.

ー私の夢を応援してくれて

ー言葉と行動をとおして刺激になってくれて

ー支えになり、聞いてくれて、応援してくれて

ーこの不思議で面白い世界と人生を一緒に探ってくれて

- for always being there and stimulating me to be curious, adventurous, inspired...with the vast, diverse faces that you have.

we all need to work harder to protect you, for what you give is far more than what we give back.
