Beach! Beach! Dominican Republic!

After surviving the cyclone/hurricane and the Bermuda Triangle, we finally reached the Caribbean and the Dominican Republic!
Beth, Patri and I made our way to the beach first, Boca Chica :)

Since it was still early in the morning we had the beach to ourselves- the sea was so clear and blue. The only annoying thing was the sellers who wouldn't stop coming by.

Delicious plantains, fried chicken, beans and rice!

In the afternoon we visited Zona Colonial- the old city. The buildings were colonial and pretty but the town itself was very small.
The impression of Dominican people was RELAXED, and I think we all needed more time to grow to love it.
